The power cable is equipped with a plug according to AS 3112 and a socket according to IEC-60320 C 13. The plug fits all sockets commercially available in Australia and New Zealand.

The IEC socket is equipped with a safety mechanism, which locks the socket after inserting the non-heating device plug. This effectively prevents unintentional detachment.
